Benefits
Concrete floors have the added advantage of working as an effective storage heater giving greater value for money. The fair-faced soffit on our units allows for the unit to remain exposed, with out a suspended ceiling the efficiency of thermal retention is increased.
Our standard units have a minimum fire rating of 1 hour. Unlike extruded units, our units have solid concrete ends, which further improves fire retardation and also improves the shear capacity at bearing.
Our Flooring units are made using polystyrene cores, which remain in the unit. This eliminates the risk of water or other contamination and creates the perfect acoustic barrier between floors such as in residential buildings.
Pre-Stressed floors can usually be installed in less than a day, reducing programme times and costs on the site.
